Bondage Breakers understands that everyone needs help sometimes and we strive to continually help those who are not as fortunate as others.
Bondage Breakers helps the homeless with various services throughout the year. Services include, but are not limited to: Clothing, blankets, food, personal needs, etc.
Everyone is important and more often than we think, sometimes the homeless are left feeling invisible. Bondage Breakers will try to help as many as we can feel valued and remembered.
On Saturday, November 12, 2016, Bondage Breakers staff was honored to participate in a united volunteer effort at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church for the Stop Hunger Now Initiative. There was an open invitation to all members of the community and it was wonderful to see so many willing workers, young and old, taking time out to help others.
Volunteers worked very hard fill meal packages that would feed 27,000 children in different countries. Bondage Breakers appreciates the chance to “give back to the community” , especially on an occasion as special and fulfilling as this one was. We were blessed to be a part of this great effort and thank God for all involved.
Bondage Breakers cares for the low-income and elderly population. The inability for most households to buy the food they need on a weekly or monthly basis is ever-increasing, but they may not be eligible for any government programs to help with this cost.
It is the hope and goal of Bondage Breakers to provide boxes of perishable and non-perishable food assistance to those in need whenever we can. Please consider making a donation to assist in this great effort.
Bondage Breakers is committed to assisting the elderly and disabled population who may need additional supportive care. There are many people in nursing homes and rehabilitation facilities that may need a little more personal time and/or attention while they are in their recovery process. Sometimes family and loved ones are not able to come and visit as often as they would like. Bondage Breakers makes visits to various facilities and provides cards, letters, magazines and/or small gifts to the more incapacitated. This Card and Care Program was created as a little reminder that there are others who care and are thinking of them.
The Card and Care Program is not only for those who are elderly and disabled, but for all those who have been displaced in some way, or have issues meeting their daily needs. Other populations that are eligible for this program include, but are not limited to, homeless, victims of domestic violence, veterans, low-income, etc. Services may include; cards, magazines, food, clothing, personal needs and transportation assistance.
While Bondage Breakers is limited from assisting everyone due to available funding, we will continue to seek assistance from all available sources to provide services as needed.
Bondage Breakers Inc. supports continued education for the youth in the Georgia communities. For graduating high school seniors meeting the minimum requirements on the attached application, $100 scholarship checks will be awarded.
Applications will only be accepted from May 30th (5/30) - August 31st (8/31) each year. Applicants must provide all required verification listed by the deadline. Late applications will not be accepted.
Bondage Breakers staff will review all applications and select approved applicants. While we would like to award every graduating senior and acknowledge their great accomplishments, we can only approve the amount of students with scholarships that fall within our funding limits.
We appreciate and are very grateful for the financial support from our community donors and sponsors to continue this wonderful program.
Notification will be sent to the approved recipients, along with the scholarship check.
Bondage Breakers understands and recognizes that the youth of today is our future. We want to acknowledge and encourage young children in their efforts to learn and excel in doing good – in their homes as well as in their community. All children need to feel special and Bondage Breakers would enjoy being a part of making that happen. This program was created especially for that purpose.
Bondage Breakers will reward one special child with various blessings throughout the year to let them know that they are appreciated for who they are. We love our youth and we know they are truly a blessing. It is a joy to make them feel EXTRA special!
